Hydrant Flushing

The Borough of Flemington Water Department will be flushing hydrants during the month of October 2023.This will take place in the overnight hours to minimize any pressure issues with service.After the flushing, customers may experience cloudy discolored water.The water is safe.The discoloration comes from minerals being stirred up in the mains when being flushed.  Please run your COLD water faucet until the water discoloration clears.If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the water department at 908-782-8840 ext. 223 or via email This email address is being protected from spambots.
