9-27-2021 Introduced Ordinances

Public Hearings Set on 4 Ordinances
 
Four ordinances were introduced at the Sept. 27, 2021 Council meeting and read for the first time.
 
Ordinance 2021-23 is titled, "An Ordinance to Replace and Supersede the '2017 Union Hotel Redevelopment Plan' as Adopted by Ordinance 2017017 and Amended by Ordinance 2020-16 of the Borough of Flemington." This ordinance amends the redevelopment plan so that the plan approved by the Planning Board in 2020 is the only option for the development. It also anticipates the addition of a porch on the 78 Main St. building.  Redevelopment Plan Documents
 
Ordinance 2021-25 is titled, "An Ordinance Creating the Position of Office Assistant and Setting a Salary Range."
 
Ordinance 2021-26 is titled, "An Ordinance Accepting a Well Site, Waterline and Access Easement Over a Portion of Block 45, Lot 1."
 
These ordinances will be further considered for final passage on second reading following public hearing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council beginning at 7:30 PM on October 12, 2021.
 
Ordinance 2021-24 is titled, “Amending Chapter 14, Section 1404 of the Borough Code Regarding the Historic Preservation Commission." This ordinance amends the Borough Code to standardize, strengthen and make more transparent the commission's historical preservation guidelines. It will be further considered for final passage on second reading following public hearing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council beginning at 7:30 PM on October 25, 2021.
