Both accept solid pharmaceuticals such as pills, capsules, patches, inhalers, and pet medications. They cannot accept syringes or liquids.
Be sure to scratch out any personal information such as your name and address.

Do you have unused or expired over-the-counter or prescription medicine in your cabinet? Dispose of them properly to help prevent misuse, accidental poisonings and to protect the environment. Landfills, Wastewater Treatment Plants and Onsite Sewage Disposal Systems are not designed to remove these chemicals. As a result, these medications can end up in the environment and eventually in our drinking water.

The drug overdose epidemic in the United States is a public health and public safety issue. The County is committed to making our communities safer and healthier, and we can do this by reducing overdoses and overdose deaths. While the community does its part to turn in unneeded medications and remove them from potential misuse or harm.
