Public Notice: Exciting Union Hotel Project Updates in Flemington
Dear Residents and Business Owners,
We’re thrilled to share that the Union Hotel redevelopment project is moving forward and will bring exciting enhancements to our downtown area! Starting on or about September 16th, you’ll notice some activity as we take a big step forward.
Here’s what to expect:
Crane Installation: A crane will be positioned on Main Street daily from Monday to Friday, between 7 AM and 2 PM, for approximately two weeks.
Traffic Adjustments: During this time, Southbound traffic on Main Street will be detoured at Capner Street, leading you to Park Avenue, and then back to Main Street. Northbound traffic will experience a lane shift starting at Court Street. Please note that Court Street will remain open for through traffic, and vehicles will be directed south onto Main Street from Court Street.
Parking Information: Parking will be limited on Main Street, particularly in front of the County Admin Building and Clerk’s Office. We encourage you to use parking lots located off Capner Street and Court Street for visiting these buildings.
Detour signage will be in place to help guide you through the area and assist you with navigating to local businesses and parking locations.
We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to enhance our downtown. The Union Hotel project is a significant milestone for Flemington, and we’re excited about the positive impact it will bring to our community.
